About our school

Ohio College Preparatory School is a public charter school serving students in kindergarten (early entrance) through 8th grade in Maple Heights, Ohio. Ohio grades every school in the state, and Ohio College Prep earned a 5-star rating for Gap Closing, a 5-star rating for Progress, and a 4.5-star overall rating for the 2024–25 school year. The school also ranks #5 among charter schools in Cuyahoga County and scores in the top 5% of Ohio charter schools statewide.

Ohio College Prep is built around high academics. That means the work is serious, the expectations are high, and the instruction is real. But this is also a K-8 school small enough that every child is actually known here — by name, by need, by what they're capable of. Families don't get lost in the shuffle. Neither do our students.

It is a publicly funded school. There is no tuition, no fees, and no cost to families.

Free breakfast and lunch are available for eligible students.
Free transportation is provided for families in the service area.
