IDEA Part B Funds
The Board of Directors for Akron Preparatory School, Canton
College Preparatory School, Euclid Preparatory School, Lake Erie
Preparatory School, and Ohio College Preparatory School are
required by federal and state law to hold a Public Hearing to allow for
public comment on the use of IDEA Part B funds.
The Public Hearing will be held during the October Board Meeting.
Test Preparation Time Limit Waiver
Pursuant to ORC 3301.0729, there is a limit to the amount of time in
which schools may engage in test preparation for students;
approximately 2% of total instructional hours, with some exceptions.
The school wishes to apply for a waiver in order to provide
assistance to the students who need the additional testing
preparation time.
The Board shall hold a Public Hearing on the application for the
waiver, and invites the public to provide commentary and/or opinion.
The Public Hearing will be held during the October Board Meeting.
